Will I need to purchase a new domain name?

You do need a domain name, but you don’t have to pay for it! It’s included as part of your Smart Biz Passport. You can select a new domain name, or transfer an existing one, in our ordering process. We cover the registration cost. Your annual registration fee for your domain will be waived for as long as you are a customer of Smart Biz Passport. Read more about the process.

Is hosting included for my PassportSite?

Absolutely! We provide some of the most reliable and secure hosting in the industry, and provide regular backups of your PassportSite for you. You’ll receive login credentials for your own hosting dashboard where you can access your PassportSite if you ever need to. Everything is included in your Smart Biz Passport pricing with no additional fees.

Do I need coding or web-design skills to use a PassportSite?

Not at all. Your PassportSite is created for you by our design team. You simply upload your logo, your business information, any images you want to use, and a description of your services, and we take it from there. Our client portal makes sharing progress simple and easy. You’ll be impressed, we promise.

How will I know when my PassportSite and everything is ready?

When the different sections of your Smart Biz Passport are complete and online, you’ll be notified by email and within your client portal. Don’t worry, you’ll receive a welcome email that explains the entire process. It’s fast and easy.

How long does it take to build and launch my PassportSite?

We strive to keep our turnaround time around a week, but sometimes it can be even less time. The only occasions it may be longer would be if we receive a large influx of orders all at once. You can keep an eye on this by checking the status in your client portal.

Can I change my template choice after purchasing?

Yes. When you upload your assets to us, you’ll have an opportunity to switch templates before we start building your site. Once we’ve completed your PassportSite, you’ll be able to request up to 3 revisions to make sure everything is just right. Any changes in template or other design elements later, after your 3 revisions will require a small fee of $39.

Do you have a guarantee?
Although we don’t offer a “money back” refund, we do guarantee you’ll be happy with your purchase. Our Happiness Guarantee assures our team will work with you through the entire process, going above and beyond when necessary to make sure you absolutely love your Smart Biz Passport!
What if I don’t see my business type or industry in any of the PassportSite designs?

One of the Template Design Categories is called General Purpose. Here you’ll find a few popular designs that will work for just about any business. Also, keep in mind that any of our PassportSite custom template designs can be modified with images of your own. So the possibilities are endless. You can let us know during onboarding if you have special requests for your PassportSite. And remember all of our designs allow 3 revisions during setup, so we’ll make sure we get everything right, just the way you want it.
